We do a lot of these sorts of the threads with 20th century folks, but not so much with 19th century material. This is one of my favorites, so I will kick it off here. If memory serves me correctly Keefe threw back to back no hitters on both ends of a double header - 18 no-hit innings in one day!

My card was originally larger (as you might have guessed) but it is now closer in size to Dan's.

Hey Zinn,

Is that image half of the Harper's woodcut with Keefe and Ewing? Or was that same image used on something else? I happen to have the full woodcut.
My other Keefe is this cut Tobin:

You're not pulling my leg about Keefe pitching two no-hitters in a day, are you. Why isn't the feat recognized as a MLB record, they always talk about Johnny Van De Meer's feat and never bother mentioning Keefe.

Peter,
I just went to the HOF site on Keefe and he pitched two complete games in one day, allowing three total hits in 18 innings. So my memory was a bit off. Impressive feat nonetheless.
