OK, being of the suspicious nature, I'll ask what I think is an obvious question: Why so much action on this when there still are two days to go? Think about the five-figure cards you've seen sell on eBay. Most of the ones I remember had the seriously high bids coming in at the end. Ditto for very high-ticket items I've seen in other areas of collectibles that have sold on the Bay. So why, assuming that all these bidders are familiar with the eBay system, would so many have pushed the price so high so (relatively) quickly? |
