Mike, from my records and experience there was only one pin produced in 1931-Don Heffner. The pins were produced by the Lucke Badge Co. of Baltimore. There was a 1930 pin produced of Joe Hauser, which obviously would be in higher demand than the Heffner. However, there was also a pin produced in 1933 (that shares the same design) of Harry Smythe, that appears to be tougher than the first two mentioned, I have only seen one or two of them. In all likelihood there was one produced in 1932, but I have yet to see one. |
