Does anyone know of any price guides for these or generally what they sell for? Also, how rare they are? I haven't seen any for sale recently.

Not sure if there has ever been a value listing in any guide for the envelopes. They are very rare. The Philly Find was sold in a Leland's auction several years ago and consisted of an entire high grade set of cards and about 3 dozen of the envelopes. I think the lot went for 150K+
The only other time I ever saw envelopes for sale was on eBay in 2006 when Shigley's grandson sold the entire series of 24 envelopes (near mint) along with a raw ungraded blue bkgd. Honus Wagner in about ex condition. My bid got blown out of the water. I think it went for 9K.

2 i sold on ebay in Nov. 2007 to a board member. Sent them via USPS and they are still somewhere in the postal black hole...

Most are found torn or with rips since that is how they were opened.

I bought a cubs team set envelope off Rhys for $60 last year. Plannin on matting it with my team set (If I ever finish a team set)
