They might not need it if they would allow the ump closest to the play make the call on disputed home runs. I can think of 3 Mets games this year where the other umps overruled the one closest to the play and all 3 times the call ended up wrong. I could live without catchers gesturing down to first or third on checked swings too-drives me nuts.
