	There is a Capilano river near Vancouver, so the minor league team might have took Capilanos as its name. Then again, there's a canyon, a bridge, a dam, etc. named Capilano so it could be the source of the name as well.  |

	The name "Capilano" originates from the Capilano Indian band.  Aside from the band, Capilano River is on the North Shore, and essentially divides the cities of West Vancouver and North Vancouver.  |
