A few people have mentioned that Fed Ex will insure a package up to $500, which is correct. However, I'm willing to bet that if your $500 box gets lost and you tell Fed Ex it was a baseball card, they very well may not pay you. Sounds crazy, but I think it's true. They don't want to be responsible if valuable collectibles are lost.
