| Ever Change Your Mind on a Set?

I used to hold the '70 BB (gray border) set in contempt but acquired a partial one that I've slowly been filling in w/stars & highs. Anyway, in the process of doing so, I am starting to like this set. Has this ever happened to you? A hated set/issue that you have later come around to appreciate?

I agree on the 1970 Topps. It kind of grows on you, and there are some real nice looking cards in there. For me personally, a set I never really liked much over the years but I now find myself contemplating is 76 Topps. |

1948 and 1956 Topps Magic Photo or Hocus Focus baseball sub sets. Ugly little cards. I hated them while putting them together but now I kind if like them and have become somewhat determined with findiing the rest of the 55 Magic Photo Hocus Focus cards I need to finish that "set". They are a bit tougher than the other two....but just as ugly

When you see an issue for the first time in person, sometimes it's nicer than you thought and sometimes worse. I got some 1967 Dexter Press Premiums in the mail and they were sharper than expected.

Sure. 1948 Leaf and all strip cards spring to mind. I used to think both were hideous but I have found them to be quite interesting as I started to look at them more.

The 1970 set is one of my favorites, nice cold and grey with bright photos that are classic. I also love the 76 set and put one together last year, it is very nice and also a bonus is the 200 year mark of our great country. I never thought much of the 55 Bowman but after getting a nice Mantle absolutely love the set.

A single 1950s Armour Coin may not seem like much, but when you get a large lot of them containing wide variety of colors they become pretty cool. I never thought much of the Armour Coins until I bought a group lot from a collector. Now they're one of my favorite Post-War issues.

Yes, 48 Bowman and 48 Leaf. I hated both when I first saw them, now am in love with both!
