Yogi Bera is famous for his malaprops and verbal bloopers.
Here is one I particularly like. When asked about frequenting a certain New York nightclub he replied: "No one goes there anymore...it's too crowded!" And during his run for the senate (I think 1958), JFK said the following at a dinner regarding rumors his father was buying the election: "I have just received the following telegram from my generous daddy. It says, 'Dear Jack: Don't buy a single vote more than necessary. I'll be damned if I'm going to pay for a landslide."
