This is a tough one. Merlin was a great guy and as a devout Mormon myself he was a good rolemodel for me growing up watching him on both as a commentator and on Little House on the Prairie (I am too young to have watched him during his heyday). My prayers are with his family during this tough time.
RIP Merlin!

No wonder I lost out on that Deacon Jones/Merlin Olsen combo signature on the bay--went much higher than I expected....would have been a nice addition to the world's greatest football card collection.
