a few questions- What is your price range? do you want an slr (interchangeable lenses) or a point and shoot? will you use it for any other purpose other than photographing your collection? If so, what else? Do you want it to shoot video as well, and if so hd video or just really basic low res? How important is it to be able to fit in your pocket?
