Was ten years old. Watched the game after school on the old black-and-white. The expression "walk off home run" hadn't been coined yet. Can still see that left field wall and Berra's hang dog look in my mind's eye fifty years later. Didn't bother me. I was a Giants fan so I was rooting for the NL rep. In New York you picked one team and hated the other two (even if NYC was already by then a one team town).
