The authors said their point was to place the emphasis on the stories of the players and not on the cards themselves, which was the reason for the reprints.
But it's difficult to focus on the story when your eye is drawn to the reprint picture. It takes something away from the credence of the book in my opinion. I enjoyed many of the stories, but the reprints definitely were an eyesore. |
