In nearly 25 years of collecting vintage baseball material, I have examined the signatures of nearly every Hall of Fame inductee. There are a few exceptions: three of the Negro Leaguers recently enshrined en masse--and Addie Joss. I only know of one item signed by Joss that I would put any faith in whatsoever. Thre rest of the trickle that have periodically surfaced were suspicious to say the least.
As has been gathered, baseball autographs weren't widely collected until nearly 20 years following Joss' premature demise. As if that wasn't enough, any Joss family papers that existed were destroyed in a house fire, as was referenced in a letter written by Joss' son in the 1950's.
