met jay bell when he was a fine major leaguer some 25 years after i had coached him as a precocious 'little leaguer' at the ages of 5 and 6, along with his older brother Jeff.
I knew he had 'it' then!!! not exactly vintage but a 'long,long ago' memory of the best of times. certainly, mine was not a dying quail hit off a hall of famer but still an honor for this ole wannabe coach. best, barry Last edited by ethicsprof; 04-07-2011 at 10:19 PM.
