My top one is not a card, but a multi signed ball my dad got when he was 12 yrs old at an Enid Giants/Joplin Minors game in Oklahoma. Sweet spot is signed by the local idol, an 18 year old shortstop- Mickey Mantle, who I think made 60+ errors, but hit .383 that year.
These two are definitely not the most valuable, and have little on others posted, but took me a long time to find, and love them both for that... (also- all cards given/acquired in some way through my parents are off limits, but it would be boring to scan a 1987 Fleer Will Clark). BTW- Curious how is that T206 Johnson only a 3, and the green Cobb only a 2? Rear paper loss? Last edited by itjclarke; 06-25-2011 at 09:44 PM. Reason: spelling |
