Great stuff guys. Here are a few of my recent pickups.
The first one is a smaller sized Gussett style town ball baseball. Next is a beautiful looking raincap style football helmet. Lastly I picked up a photo of a House of David basketball player, which with the help of the House of David museum founder was able to identify the player as Jesse Lee "Doc" Tally. Tally was one of the original HOD baseball players, who invented their famous pepper game, and was referred to as the Bearded Babe Ruth for his slugging prowess. ![]() ![]()
