Awesome! You know what ironic about this great photo?
Drysdale used to take extra glee in knocking Willie down every chance he got. Both Don and Willie were all smiles in this photo shoot. I wonder if they were all that cordial behind the scenes? Hmmm... Here is a exerpt from Nolan Ryan's great book entitled "Kings of the Hill" with Mickey Herskowitz: "It is part of baseball lore that Willie Mays came to dread hitting against Don Drysdale. As a measure of respect for Willie's power and consistency. Don threw at him a good deal and seemed to take great pleasure in doing so.
