| Old Inlaid baseball bat

I am looking for information regarding this bat. It measures 40" long and is extensively inlaid with various woods. Below the grip is a inlaid baseball diamond. There are no markings of any kind on this bat.

I would say 1880s folk-art made presentation bat of some sorts. Pretty amazing piece there my friend.

| Bat

That's a terrific looking bat. It is, indeed, a hand made presentation bat, probably from the 1870's, based on the straight taper of the barrel. John |
