Info on Koufax Patch
Was wondering if anyone had any info on this Sandy Koufax Fan Club patch. The backing is still intact and says its from AM Knit & Emblem MFRS. I am assuming its early to mid 1960s. But was'nt sure if it was a give away or a promotion or what. If anyone knows anything please let me know.

koufax patch
Those patches were sold throught the mail and at the concession stands at Dodger Stadium for around $2.00. I remember seeing them advertised in the Dodger's concession brochures, if I can find my copies I should be able to get you the exact years. I'm pretty sure they were sold in 1963 through 1965.

these patches do show up on ebay occasionally, usually with someone trying to sell it with a BIN of $150 or so that never gets exercised. Normal price is usually around $50-75. When I bought mine years ago for $100, I thought I was getting a steal, but there doesn't appear to be much of a demand for this particular item.
