| How to screw up a great deal

Seller list this card way under value but before I or anyone could buy it a ebay member tips them off as to how much there card might be worth. Read the questions on the bottom, way to go Dave : ( http://cgi.ebay.com/wayne-gretzky-79...#ht_500wt_1156 I am not sure why this was posted 5 times??? Sorry about that. A BCCG 9 sold for $800 and 10's sell for 2x. So that's a $1,500+ card no matter what the cross over is.

I think you might be confusing BGS with BCCG. Two different grading scales, two different markets, same company.

 Jordan 9's go for 600-700 and 10's 1,000-1,200 so a Gretzky 10 would be $1,500+ |

I think I agree with Chris. I have never owned a BCCG card, but a bccg 9 gretzky sold for 750ish. wouldn't you expect the 10 to sell for a fair amount more? Also, isn't a 10 the "equivalent" of a bgs 9? If so, there is a ton of value in that. A BGS 9 OPC Gretzky sells for 3k+, I believe.

I speak of value for resale. I think that you would get more selling it than 999. Just my opinion.

Okay, but as soon as it goes up for auction you will see that you could have bought that card and have made a pretty penny. I'll be back.

this is a great example of why alot of board members don't like beckett. the card may sell for psa 8 or psa 9 prices, but the buyer will be getting an EXMT card. totally misleading. |

Theoretically, a bccg 10 with perfect centering should cross-over as a 10 to any major grading service. It probably doesn't always work out that way though. |
