Oversized Pennants from Turn of the Century!

I've decided to sell 2 of my oldest Pennants. Both date back to the very early 1900s, and are jumbo/oversized!

1. Georgia Pennant. Most will call it racist and no doubt, it is. But it tells an important story of a less enlightened time. Antique Pennant features an African American with a slice of Watermelon.

This rather offensive image is none-the-less intriguing, and is likely desirable among Black Americana collectors. Peach-colored felt is ultra-thick and soft, and authenticity is guaranteed. Condition is EX $119

2. Incredible Early Chicago University Football Pennant. Giant oversized beauty features some of the most stunning graphics I've seen on a pennant. I collect only Baseball, so this one doesn't really fit my collection. Otherwise, I'd never sell it.

Turn of the Century Football Player is sporting a very early uniform and holding a Melon-style Football that is almost spherical in appearance. Very unique image and seldom (if ever) seen. Soft burgundy felt remains in nice condition with some scattered nicks and a small dark spot between the "c" and the "a" (common condition issue, barely affects the overall aesthetics). Guaranteed authentic. $319
