			I have type 1 photos that are stamped in different Countries, so that is not unusual.   I agree that something about the photo doesn't look right. Jeff |

			I asked him for better pictures but hes using his cell camera and said thats the best he can do. Not sure about it

			Buenos Aires photographer or news agency?  I will say that I have seen that type of border in family photo albums and in different types of snapshots stamped by photographers but I have NEVER seen a news photograph with an ornate border cut like that.

			It may be a private photographer's work from a news archive.  In France newspapers used photos from private photographers who would cut the borders ornately.  Here is a photo of Kid Francis, a boxer who was murdered at Auschwitz during WWII, taken by a private photographer that ended up in the archive of a French newspaper: And another one of promoter Philippe Roth:  I'm not saying the Ruth is genuine, just that the border may not explain what it is.

			Did some more research and found that "maubach" is actually William Guillermo Maubach who was a well known photographer up until the late 40's.
