Any ideas on this particular Yankees jersey?

Made by Leacock Sporting Goods, I’m guessing around the 1920’s era

Minors? Let me know if you have any thoughts...

I've never seen that, even in photos of old Yankees players. I'm guessing that it may be a local team that used the Yankees name.
