Ty cobb 8.22.1922 original dh ticket tigers/a's 3 hits
Up for grabs is an original aug 22, 1922 ty cobb tichet to a doubleheader that the tigers swept vs the athletics - 6-4, and 17-3. Cobb had three hits in the dh including his 37th double of the season. Cobb would go on to hit .401, his last .of three .400 or better seasons. Bobby veach hit two homers and harry heileman had 4 hits and a home run. Condition is nice with scored written on the ticket. Near impossible to find cobb original tickets. See the scans.
