Other then the colorized and blue printed Ruth Fro Joy reprints, are there any ways to get an idea whether a black printed cards is real or fake?

I wish to point out that most collectors and dealers should not try to authenticate the Fro Joys on their own. Even a respected grader slabbed some fakes a while back.
