It is a rainy day here and I was just glancing at the Standard Catalog and saw the N360 series and realized that I have never seen a card from this series. If you have one would you please post it. Have any of these appeared at auction recently. Thanks. |

I think the few I've seen have had the schedule back...I don't recognize the other two, and that black back is gorgeous. |

That Little Rhody is a beauty. That is definitely a card I would buy just because I like the way it looks. |

didn't also call the Little Rhody an N360. There are enough mis-identified cards.... |

looking into the card. While it is a Little Rhody - and Little Rhody did have cards in the N360 series - the card showing "America" is from the N557 series......... |

SGC was smart and didn't put ACC numbers on the flips.... |

SGC is smart - if they were then they would know the standard and accepted catalog numbers for the series. That being said - I would prefer them as a grading service over any of the others. THAT having been said I think their grading a bit too restrictive. |

Didnt know that the "stars & stripes" batter card is not part of the series. Thanks for pointing it out, I have never seen all 9 poses before and assumed it was part of the N360 series. |

The last edition of the ACC says, under unclassified large cards: |

N557 - National Sports - 10 cards including "America" which depicts a woman holding the lumber. N360 - includes 9 poses with a variety of different backs INCLUDING Little Rhody which appears on the front of cards with schedule backs. Many times (especially here) my fingers engage long before my brain. I expect I might be mis-understanding whatever we're talking about but too beat to try and figure it out just now..... Help breaking it down for the old man would be fine. |

This could be interesting and something I haven't really given much thought to until now. I quoted Burdick verbatim from the ACC 1967 edition. The one I have is a 1988 reprint. I assume you are also looking at the ACC, and if so, what edition is it? I remember Tom B saying something about an older version having some different info in it than the copy I have. I typed it the way I see it which is different than what you just wrote. |
