I was staying home today due to the mediocre weather in the DFW area and went to the Beckett site to see the lead story was that Panini would be the sole card manufacturer for basketball cards when the Topps and Upper Deck contracts expired. |

Not really a singular news story, but I would guess the shift from an adult-oriented hobby of tobacco advertising to the childhood pursuit of gum and candy cards. |

I once had a pile of Panini football stickers. They were worth next to nothing, but were good looking. I remember I stuck a Reggie White to my computer. |
