"Edward Whitey Ford" Isn't incredibly rare, they can be picked up 100% authentic for sub $100, sometimes sub $50.
About four years ago there was a lot at hunts auction for checks, 15 of the 20 were "Edward Ford", one "Ed Whitey", four "Whitey", they sold for $32.50 each. I've seen a team signed ball from 54 that had "Ed Ford" on it a while back but I don't think I have ever seen a single signed ball. I think a single signed ball with "Edward" would get a solid premium Sean
