Nice to make your acquaintance.

Buy the CARD you think is best, regardless of the holder, and you will never go wrong. We are collecting cards after all and not plastic slabs and labels

That said for PreWar especially I prefer SGC. I like the aesthetics of the holder and its comparative safety.

I do not get my cards graded but have picked up numerous graded cards along the way. I don't have a strong preference for 1 grading company over other for pre-war, and have cracked a number of cards out.

Thank you all for your insight. I do think collecting the card for best eye appeal is the way to go for me at this stage. It sounds like this is an ever evolving journey though, but one I'm already enjoying. I wish it could just go faster.
