Dan - cool oddball "rookies"...I love the not-so-common rookie / almost-rookie cards of players!
Here's my best post-war pick-up this month, a 1948-49 Trinidad y Hno Marianao team booklet w/ Buck Leonard:

For my fellow error & variations collectors, I present my new Ryan 'missing the dot in the 'i' of his signature' pickup. Tough card to find.
ryan.jpg Edited to add: Man, it's crazy how bad a card looks when it's blown up in a hi-res scan! In my hand, the corners look fine, but the scan makes it look all round cornery. Yowza!

At least there were only two versions of this card and not the 6 or maybe 7 of the 55 Sullivan i

I hate / love when this happens. These were not on my radar but I couldn't let such a nice lot pass.

Nah, I just got them last weekend. Didn't notice it was an old thread.

Whether it's 2013 or 2025, I'm happy to add these two to my collection. A couple of great-looking 4's in my opinion.
