Thanks everyone for your kind welcomes and secret handshakes!
(...and new screen-savers Leon!) I am really looking forward to Net54, I can feel the passion here already. I'm not sure if this qualifies as passion or insanity, but the youngster in me decided to take a 'side trip' while visiting Southern California a few years back! Running the bases was truly amazing! Now I know I'm on the right website, it's not just me then!
When I rounded third I was looking towards home fully expecting Joe DiMaggio to greet me with a handshake! Ted's boyhood home is just two blocks away (let's call this one side trip 2.0) I felt like a nervous nine year old as I walked by to snap a photo! |
