That is exactly what the letter is. I have one from '30 and one from '31. Came in a scrapbook lot I purchased a few years back. The scrap book also had a signed player contract for the 1931 Cleveland Indians, which as you know were a one year team. Also a letter, both are signed by Jerry Corocran THAT JErry Corcoran of the Pottsville fame who answered the phone and gave permission to Dr. Striegel to play the ND game.

We need to start a Pottsville Maroons thread. Soooo much to talk about here.

Fantastic AAFC programs! I just wrote an article for Gridiron Greats Magazine on Football Cards of the AAFC. Watch for it in the Spring volume.

Here is one of my newest and most favorite programs. Planning to write an article about this game sometime as well.
