I'm going to throw a sentimental vote for the '65. My dad got this for me the year Mantle passed as a Christmas gift when I was 12. Despite the sentimental value, the '65 is arguably the nicest Mantle from the 60s IMO

I also really like the 1961 Topps All star Mantle.

'65 was a great year, 100% agreed. I also like '56, the landscape design and eye appeal to that card rocks. I only have two Mantles in my collection but am looking to add more

aside from the ones listed in the OP I'd have to go with the '56 being my favorite. here is a pic of the one I have
