Nice to see how well that launch angle is working in extra innings. I bet the pop outs are going higher as a result.

Anyone awake and still watching game 3?

They're almost at the end of the second game of the doubleheader.

Dodgers win. I am old enough to remember Kirk Gibson.

We have a series.

Goodnight folks...

Just about 3:30 AM. At my age I was at least hoping my Sox would make it worth staying up that late, but I didn't get that. All I got was my head feeling this morning like I drank heavily last night, when I didn't even have a drop!

My EARLY exit velocity (leaving the TV room) led to my launch angle (onto the bed)!

Is it possible to have more adventures on the basebath in one series of plays than Kinsler? Gets picked off but called safe, takes off on the very next pitch on a hit and run, overruns third and just manages to get back very awkwardly, then gets blown away by Bellinger trying to score on a short fly to center. He seemed determined to make an out.

The announcing is just as bad as ever, which means it is truly putrid. I watch the broadcast on mute while streaming WEEI out of Boston for sound. So much better.

And for Pete's sake, how in the world are the Dodgers in the Series and Vin Scully doesn't even get to call an inning? Unless I missed something, which is entirely possible...

you ride or die with kershaw, the only better option right now is buehler. i don't expect a good outcome with rich hill tonight.

...and if i didn't know better i'd think kinsler is an LA plant, he was determined not to let the dodgers lose if he can help it.

edit: dodgers reached out to scully but he wants to stay retired and didn't want to take the spotlight away from the team...always classy.
