That is one rare Williams advertising piece. Is that real or a reprint?

A few pins and charms (most are not really rare, just uncommon to see so many at once).

Hey Rob,

Purchased back in the '80's. Had it looked at by multiple people/experts. All indications are that it is not a reprint & is indeed actual Topps advertising piece.

A few rare Ted Williams pieces...

The Petitto Candy Container Bust (last photo) is one of a tiny handful known to exist. About 100 X rarer than its Jackie Robinson counterpart.

Great thread! MaineMule when I saw that Ted piece with the photos I said What is that?? And laughed when I saw you had a similar thought.

Mark - nice Moxie!

Here's one that I can add - I love that someone had the nerve to get this card signed in circa 1985. Such sharp corners. What a great hitter.

Default 1958-1960 Game Used Bat

I bought this Ted Williams bat from former A's pitcher Matt Keough. Matt's father, Marty Keough, was friend's with Ted while he played on the Red Sox. The dates aren't exactly clear, but somewhere between 1958-60 Matt participated in a game as the Red Sox's bat boy. There are multiple pictures with Ted and Matt with a nice letter from Ted on how to become a professional baseball player.

Ted Williams senior year high school yearbook. Ted graduated in December 1937. After playing for the PCL Padres at the tail end of 1936, he was no longer eligible to play high school baseball, and so is not shown with the baseball team.
