Default T206 Cobb Bat On

If you had offered that to me for 20 bucks I would have passed. I'm surprised the bid is so high with almost 2 days left.

Which begs the question, "How much of a card can be missing and it still be consider a card?"

I am reeeaaal lenient when it comes to condition, but I expect at least the majority of the player's head to still be present. I am surprised that more than one collector considers this one to be a 3 digit before the decimal card.

The card features the ultimate minimal rendition of a Piedmont reverse as well.

That's half a mind more than Cobb has to contemplate upon the possibility.

You would not buy a card for $20 that is at 100+ with a day to go ?
Why not?
I would buy a beat-up poor $100 bill for 20 bucks ...

Maybe it is about time for me to auction off this little gem...

Brian.

Full disclosure: the front of the card, which is shown on the left (just in case you had some difficulty identifying it as such) has been altered to reveal the underlying materials present that normally are not visible to the naked eye on a regular Diamond Stars card. Advantage this Rogers Hornsby!

Default Hornsby

You don't often see cards where the front is larger than the back.

The front was pressed.

The reverse didn't require pressing.
