Sadly the high end graded card market must crash first for any of this to positively recover and move in the proper direction. Right now it’s all a Fraud.
I’m not insane I’m just keeping it real to the bottom line. |

And you’re still a bottom-feeding idiot both in the legal profession and the hobby. Actually the Gehrig card is being addressed. But you don’t know how because, well, you don’t matter.

I am glad to hear something is being done about the Gehrig. Slabbing the mini-Goudey was not S_C's finest hour.

And the Hull as well.

Does anyone know if action is being taken to only address trimmed cards?
How about cards that were cleaned, soaked or whatever method that does not leave evidence? I believe these are flying under the radar by the mass. Betting #’s on par with trim jobs. |

Ask your friend Brent, as many are his own creations, no?

I appreciate the suggestion Peter. Perhaps others here have some information as well.

Can you explain what you mean by "addressed"? I'm inferring refunded and then provided to the FBI and/or reholdered as AUTH, but it could mean something else.

I’m not convinced, the 34 Gehrig in the PSA 8 holder is the same card as the SGC 9 Gehrig, I believe it is NOT THE SAME CARD.
Look Close the right border on the PSA 8 shown, it’s substantially narrower on the PSA Card then the SGC Card in a 9 holder. Last edited by Johnny630; 10-30-2019 at 07:59 AM. |

As I read this thread it appears all the examples are from AH sales.
What about the scenarios in private deals? What if a buyer ends up with that Gehrig or Hull in a private sale? What recourse is there? Pretty soon many of these examples will have traded hands multiple times before being identified. Who is liable at that point? |

As far as who's liable... PSA needs to be challenged on their supposed guarantee. If the dealer or previous seller is unavailable/untraceable/unable to comply, or if you don't recall where the card originated, then the TPG is your source for compensation. The tainted card was authenticated - slabbed - sold - traded under their "authenticity guarantee". If PSA isn't willing to comply, or it's a non-PSA Card in question, then it might be time to contact an attorney. And it appears that one is available right here! Peter Chao claimed to be an attorney. Just noting that.

Dont worry its being 'addressed' Saying its not the same card or the same card when its about a 40k or whatever purchase is no big deal. They will work it out. Last edited by 1952boyntoncollector; 10-30-2019 at 09:54 AM. |

Measuring with the cursor, it's the same. And the 11 marks/flaws are like a fingerprint.

Glad to see now they you are volunteering previously unknown information to the board as being 'addressed' I am sure you will advise exactly how it was addressed as that would be the point of it. Everything in life is being 'addressed'. Anyway, if it can be addressed where everybody is happy and no lawsuit needs to be filed then that would be the best option.. You will probably start with an insult but it was you that volunteered the card with 'being addressed' I am only asking you something in which you volunteered information and asking for a follow up, not sure what is wrong with that... Last edited by 1952boyntoncollector; 12-01-2019 at 07:18 AM. |
