My God Doug, you've lived the life I have always wanted to live. Can I be you in the next life? Motorhead is tied for my favorite band of all time (with Megadeth). I don't know if I can handle any more stories, I may just explode (just like all the drummers in Spinal Tap)!!!

last try
"Another backstage pass for you,
Another tube of super glue" OH!!!!!! "Fourth day, five day marathon, We're moving like a parallelogram" When I was in college listening to this in the late 80's my friends and I actually loved the fact that Lemmy had the word parallelogram in a song. So pretty funny you brought it up, and pretty stupid of me to not initially remember. and let's not forget this one by Lemmy: "Shetland pony, extra pepperoni" Last edited by Shoeless Moe; 04-04-2020 at 09:02 PM. |

Ding ding ding, we have aye wi-nnah...
I told you, the man was a poet... As an atheist buddy of mine likes to say "Dog Bless him..." Tony - remember, at least one of them died in a bizarre gardening accident (as did the drummer from Toto) |

Asked about any Motörhead stories? Doug goes to...11..haha
Freakin' awesome! Lemmy has to be one of the most metal people ever. GOAT. He had some real powerful lyrics, dude could do it all. Thanks again for sharing man. Great stuff! Last edited by GoCubsGo32; 04-07-2020 at 03:22 PM. |

Lemmy's Funeral Service
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BowkWFFZKpE Most Lemmy fans have seen this, but if not it's pretty good, some great Lemmy stories. Pop open a few cold ones and enjoy Lemmy's funeral! |

I mentioned earlier that I saw Black Sabbath in 1978 and that Van Halen opened up. In 1995 I stayed in same hotel as band and was luckey enough to have a couple drinks and here stories about the 78 tour. Eddie was not there but he was kind enough to sign the next morning.
I had them sign to my son Kyle who was 9 at the time. He grew up to be a Country music fan ... Doug loved the Motorhead stories.. Last edited by bigfanNY; 04-08-2020 at 10:11 PM. |
