I received the Murder in the Front Row DVD in the mail today. I pre-ordered it on the website, and didn't expect it until next week. I sent a text to Brian Lew (he is "Umlaut" from the Dio blog post a few days ago), one of the authors of the book, and he was as shocked as I was how early I received it.

Now I need to find my DVD player and figure out how to hook it up...

No real stories, but I saw them at L'Amour in Brooklyn in Nov 1984 (Disillusion tour), they were so f'n good. This was before they recorded the album with Max Norman and fell down the same mtv hell hole that Y&T did visually and soundwise. I met Akira once while I was on tour in Japan with somebody, but nothing special just a very quick "hello, nice to meet you"

Thank you for giving me a reason to pull up Disillusion...

Earthshaker (the Y&T album, not the Japanese band) will be next...
