Collecting the 1938 and 1939 W-711 series. I believe I picked all of these up under $50. The ones on ebay right now are crazy priced. If anyone has the Bill McKechnie I am definitely interested! I have the big 4: Derringer, Walters, Lombardi and F. McCormick.

Big Red Machine where in the world did you find the Shillitos? Only one I have seen is at Sports Investments in Cinci and was not for sale. That is an incredibly difficult card.. Congrats

Thanks. The Shillitos popped up on ebay one afternoon last week with a Buy It Now and I jumped on it. Yes, I have seen one at Sports Investments and often wondered if I would ever see another one. Phil

That Shillito's is a an incredible pickup. Love that 3D Perez as well. Great to see this thread up and running again. Landed this 68 Uniroyal Panel recently. Last edited by jb67; 12-01-2019 at 03:37 PM. |

Big Red Machine crazy luck we are having here lately, this one surfaced at a local card show this weekend. Dealer was a Bench collector and wasn't aware of this one. He said he would find another one...
Wow this thread is now over 10 years old! Last edited by smrtn240; 01-26-2020 at 08:37 PM. |

That old judge is great. Nice color differential still, and funny subject.

I was digging thru a box and came across these. I still love the Big Klu booklet, it's a beauty. Sorry these are modern, but since the players are pre-1980 I thought I could get away with it. The quad relic card supposedly is bat chips from each player, as described on the back of the card.
