As an avid 1989 Fleer collector, it comes down to these two cards for me:
White scribble Ripken Clear Marlboro Johnson I know those both exist, and can buy at least the WS Ripken on eBay...but for me, it is the chase that matters and wanting to pull one of our a pack. Same with the Johnson. |

But things you don't have going for you: 1) Most people don't realize the Johnson Marlboro "error" exists. 2) Cigarette smoking isn't as interesting as curse words. 3) If there are only 2 known, they can't really be shill bid up and traded heavily. 4) Doesn't have a long history of being looked for (like FF and NNOF Thomas).

Still looking for these cards from the 2006 A&G set. Some of them I probably won't ever see in my lifetime but it was fun putting together a list.
2006 Allen & Ginter 1. ANY printing plates 2. ANY framed originals (1800's buyback cards) 3. Arod Mini Red Ink Auto /10 4. Rip cards (Dontrelle Willis and Robinson Cano) 5. Any one of the personalized postcard 1/1's (long shot but might as well add it to the list) 6. NCC Promotional Mini Cards (Matt Leinart) 7.EXT Mini’s (Barry Bonds, Derek Jeter, Derek Lee, Ichiro, Johan Santana, Josh Gibson, Ken Griffey Junior, Mickey Mantle, Miguel Cabrera, Mike Piazza, Roberto Clemente, Roger Clemens, Scott Rolen) 8. Any other promotional items from that year; pamphlets, etc. |
