Default Tyson

I just couldn't (IMO) massively overpay for his RC, so instead I massively overpaid for this.

Eric, now you need the no-name variation on the Carnera card.

halfway there... 25/50 I like the new SGC holders. The large numbers are easier for me to see.

So which one of you gentlemen ran up the price on me? Johnson makes 45/50 Miner's Extra backs for my T219 "mini-master-what-is-a-Red-Cross?-150-card-set", with 5 of the commons remaining to finish (Delmont, Kaufman, Klaus, Neil, Jack Sullivan). Cracked it out of the holder first thing, pleasantly surprised to find it isn't trimmed and is even oversized a little. Not sure why it would be sent to GMA now that I have it in hand

More silver borders from the last few weeks, my favorite boxing issue. Still looking for a James J. Corbett, have to come across one eventually

Part the second. Jackson was an upgrade for my set, he's not tougher but people seem to chase his card more than any of the other 23 commons and he is resold less often it seems.

Bought a second copy of one of my favorite cards, the rookie card of the vastly underappreciated Alexander Karelin.

I love this card, I have been acquiring them slowly for some time and intend on acquiring more as opportunity presents itself. What was the price of these at the time you purchased?

edit to note, "slowly for some time" was six months ago when I learned of it's existence

No card will ever capture this much violence, ever.

Since we were talking about Tunney, I thought some my like to read the back of his Goudey Sport Kings card.

Default Toneles

I haven’t posted here in awhile, but I’m currently going through some recent purchases. I’m pretty fond of this Toneles card, even though the condition is a bit ruff.

Default Idrottsbladets Bildgalleri

Here’s a couple more recent additions that I’m hoping someone has additional info on. I bought a few of these off of Ebay, but I can’t seem to find much info about them.

I can’t help and don’t recognize these, but that Carnera is really cool.

Default Turkey Red coupon

Another recent pick up that’s not actually a card, but a coupon for the Turkey Red series. I’m interested in opinions on how common these are. I’ve not come across many.

I’ve seen a number of them but I sure wouldn’t classify them as easy. I believe the 1-76 is more common than the 1-75 version. There’s also a Fez one that’s smaller. I’ve never picked any of them up, but they’re cool. Would go well with a pack and the cards
