Here's one of the prize-winning cards from the 1968 Atlantic Oil set. With only a few $100 prizes, there were only a handful made and I have never seen another one.

This Ruth is rare, but not as rare as the other cards shown in this amazing thread. I just love the way it looks...and it really bugs the guy who sold it to me when I post it.

REA sold a 1.5 for $4,680 in April.

Actually I own one of the Jean-donat Ruth cards and they are very very scarce. Only 6 of these cards have been graded. 1 by CSG graded a 1.5, 2 by PSA graded a 1 and a 1.5 and three by SGC graded a A, a 1.5 and your 6. You have the best one and they are not readily available. Nice card.

Thanks; that's why I bought it years ago. Would swap for a 1933 Goudey Ruth, if anyone is interested

1869 Redstockings Photo Disc (with closeups of front and back). Probably was a pin, but I really can't see evidence of that on the back. It's clearly a manufactured item, but have never heard of another surfacing.

There's one in the current REA, PSA 1.5. It will be interesting to see where it ends up. The marketing of it as "highest graded" is a bit of an irrelevancy given the SGC 80, but that's a nit I won't pick.
