Just got this one back from Michaels, my run of Jarry Parks Home Openers 1969-1976 , The Photo is from the 1970 Home opener with Bob Gibson on the mound and Rusty Staub at bat (he struck out) its a little hard to see but in right centerfield you can see fans watching the game on top of snow banks and on top of the swimming pool's cabin

Continuing the Expos theme (sort of), this one is from the first game I saw at Wrigley Field.

The Expos won 10-5

Randy Hunt hit his 1st career HR, while Greg Maddux raised his career batting average to .444 while failing to get his 2nd career win.

More Expos-related tickets...

Florida at Montreal, September 27, 2004. This was the second-to-last Montreal Expos game to be played in Olympic Stadium. The Expos lost to the Marlins 4-1. Josh Beckett got the win, John Patterson got the loss, and Armando Benitez got the save.

Montreal at New York (NL), October 2, 2004. This was the next-to-last game in the history of the Expos, and the last one the Expos would win as they defeated the Mets by a score of 8-1. Chad Cordero got the win, Braden Looper got the loss, and Gary Majewski got the save.

Washington at New York (NL), April 22, 2005 - the first game played in New York by the former Expos under their new incarnation as the Washington Nationals. It was the 17th game of the year for the Nationals, and they lost to the Mets, 3-1. Tom Glavine got the win, Esteban Loaiza got the loss, and Braden Looper got the save.

Here's a stub from the June 4, 2000 Mets v. Rays game at Shea Stadium.

This ticket was purchased from, and printed at, an "ETM" kiosk at the Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City, Long Island, NY. Over the years, the ink has faded - unfortunately, as faint as the printing is in this enhanced scan (made July 18, 2012), it's significantly more legible here than it is on the actual ticket.

Not mine but thought I’d share anyway. I did some work at the Clemente Museum this last weekend. This is a new item on loan. The owner traveled to Pittsburgh as a child and attended the 9/1/71 all minority lineup game. He stood outside the stadium that day and collected almost every player’s autograph in his autograph book. The poor quality snap shot is of him getting Roberto’s autograph outside of Three Rivers.

Thats a great piece. Ill have to check it out and see what new things they have in the museum. That ticket is on my must-find list but I have only ever seen a few of them. Attendance was just above 11K. I would think there would be a few more around the Pittsburgh area but its a tough find. A few months ago I was able to purchase original slides of a family that attended game 7 of the 1960 World Series. Really added some like to the tickets that came with them. Only had a few Clemente photos in it and that was from a distance.

I’d love to see those slides!
