I am a original owner of a SEIKO KINETIC Indicator 5M42-0A30 Gold Watch, only worn to Weddings and Special Occasions. I could be wrong but the information I found, Seiko only made them 1 year due to not being popular. Pix to follow

Do any of you have Shinola? I got this off eBay and love it. I wear it more than any other. On an aside, does anyone collect pens? If so, and are interested, I have a beautiful Tibaldi I’m willing to trade. PM if interested.

Always fun when my different hobbies collide :-) Lots of great vintage Hamilton here! I went down that rabbit hole many years back but never managed to pick one up, still hope to add one to the collection some day. I have family in Lancaster, PA and spent many holidays there as a kid, so would love to have a watch with that stamp. RGM watches is still there I believe, but a bit out of my price range. In the mean time, here's my favorite modern Hamilton, this is the 'Murph' watch that was originally made as a prop for the movie Interstellar. Was very excited when they released it in a more reasonable 38mm last year.

I never liked the look of the Chronograph registers hiding part of the numbers.

You are absolutely right. I didn’t notice that at all initially, but now I can’t unsee it. I was just mesmerized by the color.

Anyone hear of Oris? They have a Hank Aaron commemorative watch that supports Aaron's nonprofit charity.

My local jeweler got limited edition #717. If it had been 714 or 715, I think I would have walked out of the store with it on my wrist.

Oris is a decent mid level brand. They fall in the family with Tissot and Hamilton.

OH NO. Taking it to the dark side. Was talking to someone about this the last 2 days. Do you own or would you buy a counterfeit/replica watch?

I am in the camp they are like reprint cards. As long as you treat it like what it really is I am all in for both. Now if you try to say either are real then I have a problem with that.

Anyway I have been looking at getting a 2 tone Rolex for some time. The prices have basically doubled in the last 3 years. So I figured maybe a Tudor instead. I own a Rolex so I know how they feel. I have never owned a Tudor. So instead of paying several thousand for one I found a replica for a couple hundred. It is the same exact size/weight so I figured it would let me see if I like the watch before I threw decent money at one.

Actually glad I did it because I love how it looks but I just don't like wearing it. On a funny note the second hand fell off while I was mowing with it on. Should be an easy fix if I ever decide to fix it.

I bought a replica omega Seamaster bond, from the last movie, to gauge size and feel. Way too big for me to shell out the cash for the original. I wear it like a beater and it looks amazing for 150 dollars.
