I believe these are the personalized trading cards.
They were offered on 79-80 Basketball wrappers as well as the 80 Baseball wrappers.

Dated 79, they're not common, These were sent in for by a dealer, if I recall it right orders they tried later were rejected.
I'd be surprised if they made any dated 1980.

Interesting they took the time to copyright the photo of the kid on the offer card. Looks like they called it a P.I.L. Tradin’ Card.

This is great - so some dealer tried to get custom cards made before Topps figured things out? Some things never change. Are the lower Remy and Hobson cards the backs of the illustrated cards or are they what were submitted to obtain the cards?

Now if anyone on these boards has a pic of themselves on one of these, that'd be something!

Yes, I know who- about 90% sure.
It seemed cool at the time.

Every personalized print thing has had this "problem", usually when they start.
some of the personalized postage stamp systems had to get put on pause when people uploaded copyrighted images. Or more interestingly ones the USPS objected to once they were pointed out like a picture of Ted Kackzynski.

The backs are the same as mine. I showed the fronts.
It's a generic back filled in with submitter supplied information.

I forget exactly which players they managed to get, I have to think Yaz and maybe Rice and Lynn and Fisk. They may have had those held up.
I'd have to really search old ads and auction lists to see if there were more.
