My pleasure. If you want to venture into the light side of card collecting, take a look at the gallery in its entirety. It's not what everybody collects but there is so much variety. http://www.moviecard.com/gallery/showtime2.html

Of course, the L1s were the big premium of the group that included T3s and S81 silks. Not sure how many Turkey Red cigarette coupons needed to redeem to get these, but it was a lot. They do surface from time to time, and there have been some nice collections assembled over the years. Seems like a strange choice, and it would interesting to know the story. I've always loved the silks myself, they are so pretty.

Default L1 Leather/S81 Silk/T3 Cabinet Coupons

Here are a few examples of the coupons that you had to collect to turn in for the Leather, Silk or Cabinet card of your choice.

Thanks Hank,

One of these days I need to figure out a way to take a better picture of my display with the Dooin Silk, Leather and Cabinet as its in a room with poor lighting and the flash completely washes out the picture.

I do like collecting the tobacco coupons as its cool to see what premiums were available and how long they were available for.

Jay,

Like you, I've seen that period ad display and it is beautiful. Too rich for my blood as well so that is why I put my poor mans display together.

Did Helmar reproduce these around 2011? If so, how can you tell the difference?

Thanks

Lee
