Default How did this get a PSA 7?

Posted By: Judge Dred

It looks like the corners are sharp and the centering is ok. This seller picked up a lot of these and them all in for grading. While it looks like a border line grade it could pass for a 6 or 7. Maybe they just gave it to him on the sheer volume of business he's done with them.

Unless you have the card in hand I doubt if you'll know for sure. The seller has nothing to gain by making up a story on the appearance of the card. If you are really interested in picking up the card and verifying if PSA erred in "Judge"ment then you can still bid on it for the next 6 days. In this case I would be willing to guess that the seller is being honest.

Note that I like picking up PSA screw ups. I think the coolest one so far is a T201 that is folded and encapsulated in one of the modern day card holders. The biggest error I have is an N172 of Sunday with the ad bottom cut off.

OK, time to start a new thread -

The best errors by the grading companies (only PSA, SGC, SCD, BVG considered). Jury is still out on GAI (at least for me). I'm pretty sure we can leave out AAA, PRO, ASA and a few others.
