I have the 1956 Dodgers and the original envelope. They sure look like they were sold to the public. I believe there is even a price on the envelope. I have also seen a single envelope containing both the Dodgers and Yankees from 1956, with the logos of both clubs on the envelope. I suspect these were sold during the World Series, and perhaps during the following season. The Dodgers are catalogued in the Standard Catalog under "B" for Brooklyn. |
